I talked to my mother the other day and she was so excited because she cleaned out her sock drawer! I was so happy for her because I know how good it feels to free yourself of old mismatched and worn out socks!


A long time ago I got rid of ALL my socks and bought new socks that were all different looking. This way I wouldnt mix them up. I then created a system for myself that ensured sock partnering!


1. When I do laundry if I have a clean sock with no partner I close it in my sock drawer so it slightly hangs out.





2. When I have the other half I match them up….

3. Roll them together and in the drawer they go!



Some people might not want a sock hanging out but I would rather see a hanging sock then spend my time rummaging through the drawer to find that missing sock.
