I know even if pizza is vegan it’s still not the healthiest food we can eat. It has some processed ingredients, but I really enjoy the process of making pizza and I love to eat it. So for now pizza is in:}

Ingredients:
Whole foods dough
Lots of garlic
Safflower oil
Pack of organic grape tomatoes or any kind of fresh tomato you like.
Salt to taste
Daiya mozzarella cheese {Link for Daiya at bottom of this post}
Any topping you would like, I used mushrooms.

Chop garlic and saute with safflower oil or other high heat oil on low for a few minutes. Keep an eye on it garlic can burn. Stir often and happily:}

Add fresh tomatoes then use a crusher to mash them up.

Add salt.

After the tomatoes have stewed a while take them out and vita mix it up to a puree. Add puree back to pot and let simmer for 20 min or longer. Stir sauce. If you really want to do it right stir clock wise like my grandma did.

While the sauce is cooking you can make the dough a circle or whatever shape you want. The dough should be siting out about 20/30 minutes before you can work with it. Top with sauce, daiya cheese and mushrooms. Cook for whatever dough directions say and cheese is melted. Daiya cheese is amazing. I grew up with cheese and I never thought anything could compare to mozzarella on pizza but this wins.

Hello webland! It has been a while! My husband and I recently made a big move across the country. It was scary, exciting and a lot of work but well worth it for us. Cali is beautiful! Along the way I ran out of my face cream and have been searching for a new one that I really feel happy using without any fake ingredients. I stumbled across a company called Pristine Beauty and I must say I am very much in love. It came in a lot of packaging but I recycled the extra paper and pink shreds into my gift giving box and it will make a very special present:}

The face cream is called ‘Horray Brallywood Butta’. It is sort of ironic that I move to Hollywood and here this product comes across my path. I love the smell, the way it feels on my skin and the price is great. The company was started by a beautiful woman who overcame cancer. She was determined to make a product with out any carcinogens. She likes the old Hollywood flair, hence the name of the face cream and her cute website. While on her website I saw her ‘Take a whiff’ deodorant and decided to also give it a try. It is fantastic. The deodorant is a bit pricy {I think $22} but she said it can last for quite some time. Its great too because it is not white or flaky but has a nude color and goes on smooth. I have been through the ringer experimenting with natural deodorant. As a dancer I need protection but I never had any success. I always had to reapply and that sometimes didn’t help. Well today I took class and had rehearsal and I smell great, like one of those orange sherbet drinks! Cheers to a new beauty regime.

Day three: It is snowing. It has been snowing all day…. I made a big pot of fresh veggie miso soup. It was fantastic. Between my juicing I had my soup.

I have decided that for my true three day juice cleanse I will wait until I have three days off in a row and also wait until the weather is a bit warmer. All of my juice has been delicious. Pineapple, mango, kale, parsley, carrot….etc. I even put some garlic in my juices.

My daily morning juice will commence as usual and as for a juice cleanse: I highly recommend anyone, who is able, to dabble and experiment as I am doing!

Cheers:}

Today was great.
We had our morning juice, mid morning kombucha, lunch juice, mid-aftermnoon juice and a dinner smoothie. Throughout the day I had plenty of water w/cayenne pepper & lemon juice. It is 6:30 right now. Around 6:00 I felt very hungry. Although I tried hard to read about why juice fasting is so good for us to inspire me- I broke it and had some of my delicious cabbage salad. So I did not do a complete liquid fast but I feel great.

I plan on following the same schedule tomorrow. Maybe Ill have a very light dinner like miso soup. I know that I would like to do a complete juice fast in the future and I’m very happy to be teetering with the idea. I do know one thing: I want to only put good whole foods into my body. Possibly a juice fast one day once a month or so? Im not sure what the exact timing will be but I can see how a cleanse can realign the body.
